This level is a fit if your child:
- Is learning letter sounds or still mixing them up
- Is just starting phonemic awareness (hearing and identifying sounds)
- Cannot identify the proper letter when you make a letter sound
- Does not know their digraphs or “letter teams” (CH, SH, NG, etc.)

- Knows all of their letters, sounds, and basic letter teams (ch, sh, etc.) but doesn’t yet read -or-
- Can read some CVC words, but it’s slow or inconsistent -or-
- Is reading, but struggles when words get longer (blends, digraphs, syllables) -or-
- Needs practice to build fluency + confidence with real reading
