HOW LONG HAS CAMPFIRE BEEN IN BUSINESS?
Campfire has been igniting a passion for learning for over three years now (since 2020). Our journey in the world of education has been one of innovation, and we’re excited to keep the flame of curiosity burning bright (see what we did there? “Flame” … “burning bright”? HAHA!). Here’s a breakdown of common scenarios under which this question usually arises, and our responses to each:
1 – DO YOU HAVE EVERYTHING MY HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT NEEDS FOR SCIENCE, OR HAVE YOU NOT BEEN PUBLISHING LONG ENOUGH?

2 – ARE YOU GOING TO STAY IN BUSINESS AND CONTINUE PRODUCING? I’M WORRIED ABOUT INVESTING IN SOMETHING THAT WILL NOT LAST.
Lord willing, that is our plan! We don’t have any intentions of going anywhere. 🙂
3 – I NOTICED SOME SIMILARITIES WITH OTHER CURRICULA GRAPHICS. COULD YOU TELL ME MORE ABOUT THAT?
It’s quite common in the field of education for different curricula to share certain thematic resemblances, much like iPhone and Android, or like two friends who both shopped at Hobby Lobby (their homes, while similar with some overlap, will still be unique). This is especially common when graphics are purchased from the same companies that are selling what is “in.” You can see the images referenced below. Half of these are from another company; half are from our own units. Some are in a third or fourth homeschool curriculum company’s products.
4 – WHAT MAKES CAMPFIRE DIFFERENT?
That’s a great question! Unit studies for all ages have existed for decades, and there are hundreds of options out there. Below, we will share a few things that make Campfire unique, that we have done since the beginning!
- Can be an all-in-on OR an extracurricular with intentional variable ending points.
